What is the Miracle Project?

Recently, as I was driving to a college football game with my family, my mind started to wander. Pretty soon a small, still voice in my mind was whispering an idea to me.
“Pray for a Christmas Miracle and it will happen”, the voice said.
“Build a blog and ask your fellow countrymen to pray with you. It doesn’t matter if the person praying believes in a higher power nor does it matter if they are Christian. Ask your fellow citizens to sacrifice just few minutes over the Christmas Season to Pray for a Miracle to happen.”
A little background on myself–in case you are wondering. I am a mother of two children and the wife of a good man. I was raised Catholic, but like many I have let my religion lapse and rarely attend mass. I don’t claim to be anymore religious than anyone else. I do, however, know for a fact that Prayer works. It has always worked in my life. Always.
So I ask you to do the following at least once during the next month or so:
1)Find a Church that has an area to light candles. If you are shy about entering a Church for whatever reason, purchase a holy candle at a local store. Google it.
2)Light the candle kneel down before it.
3)Say the following prayer to open the channel of miracles:
“Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen “
4) Pray for the United States or whichever country you are from.
5)Expect a Miracle.
6) Pass this on. The more prayers we can get, the better. Everyone is welcome.
